As you will be aware, we now find ourselves up against a new strain of COVID-19 which is even more unpredictable than the first and more easily transferred between people. The government is so concerned we are once again in strict lockdown. For this reason we feel we should be reducing contacts as much as possible to protect our donors, our staff and volunteers and those who need our help, and would like to stop taking donations of items for the next few weeks (to be reviewed at the end of January). We will concentrate our efforts on making sure those who need our help, receive the food and essential items they need.
If anyone wishes to donate meantime, a cash donation directly into our bank account can be made, specifying what it has to be spent on, for example, food, toiletries, pet food or just our general fund.
Thank you so much for all of your help. Please keep safe during this uncertain time.
