December Tesco Collection Delivers Over 4,700kg of Food for Local Families

We’re pleased to report that our December Tesco collection was a tremendous success, with the local community helping us gather 383 crates and 4,724kg of food, along with £527.45 in cash donations.

The three-store collection saw strong support across all locations:

• Tesco Renfrew collected 1,285kg across 97 crates, with £98.30 in donations
• Tesco Paisley gathered 1,346kg in 103 crates, plus £152.21 in cash contributions
• Tesco Linwood led the effort with 2,094kg across 183 crates and £277.03 in donations

We’re grateful to everyone who made this collection possible – from our volunteers engaging with generous Tesco customers at the stores, to our van team who safely transported all 383 crates back to the warehouse, and our sorting team now organizing every donated item.

Christmas and the winter months ahead represent our busiest time of year. We’re seeing increased demand from families struggling with high bills, while donations typically drop off after the holidays. The December collection will help us meet immediate needs, but the demand continues to grow.
